The only issue I have - which is different in the Faxon and Smoke Composites - is there are just thin holes in the carbon fiber with little bolts holding it to the metal mounting ring. Handguard was as heavy as the stock barrel nut, so i removed like 11 ozs from the front of the gun. Stock is very adjustable and feels great against the shoulder. I initially had issues with the stock "shortening" as i shot, but once i torqued the screw down further, that fixed the issue. .
